Introducing The First Nokia C5 In The C-Series

Its built-in GPS receiver comes with Ovi Maps 3.0 with drive and walk direction navigation and enables location sharing with your SNS friends. Standard Hardware Features
The new C5 has a slim candybar body measuring 112 x 46 x 12.3 mm that has room for just a small 2.2 inch TFT LCD QVGA screen with 16 millions colors. It weighs a pocket-friendly 89.3 grams typical of most candybar handsets. Imaging is a standard 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera with LED flash, VGA video recording at 15fps and a secondary front facing camera for 3G video calls.
Apart from being 3G, it"s also a quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE on 2G. You won"t get WiFi but you get Bluetooth 2.0 and microUSB 2.0 for your local data transfer needs. There"s the usual media playback support for popular audio and video files as well as stereo FM radio with RDS. There"s a built-in IHF stereo speakers, a 3.5mm AV jack for wired high fidelity headphones and Bluetooth A2DP support for wireless stereo earphones.
It comes with an internal memory storage of 50 MB with 128 MB RAM that can be expanded up to 16 GB from its microSD slot. Its BL-5CT 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery delivers a generous 12 hours of talk time and 26 days on standby on a single full charge.
Available 2nd Quarter
The Nokia press release made it clear that the new Nokia C5 will be coming to Europe, Asia, China and Middle East markets staring this 2ns quarter. It comes with a choice of two body colors ð€“ while and warm grey, and will retail at a SIM-free price of ð‚¬135 before taxes and subsidies. It is expected to come with a free 2 GB microSD card in its sales kit as well as a free GPS navigation and access to the Ovi Store.
