MyPadMedia-4 Reasons why you should stay away from MyPadMedia!

I love reading because reading can greatly enhance my life experience and I really enjoy it. Since the time I bought an iPad for myself, I started looking for downloading some novels that I wish to read. Although I have spend almost 2 hours on the Internet, I couldn"t find any of the books I was looking for. Then, I have seen someone suggesting a website called MyPadMedia. After doing a brief research, I ended up purchasing MyPadMedia. So far I have downloaded probably a dozen of my favorite novels, poetry books, comics and couldn"t find anything didn"t exist on their website including newspapers.

A Short History Of The Smartphone

Modern technology moves fast and furious, especially when it comes to capabilities of the smartphone. Just what is a "smartphone"? Actually there are no agreed upon or exact definitions for the term. Most would agree however that smartphones do more - much more - than what Alexander Graham Bell first envisioned when he invented the original telephone back in the 1870s.

Then you can get free incoming calls anywhere in the world (provided there is internet access). Simply program the Nokia SIP client that is included in the phone"s operating system to enable a second phone line (via IP) on your Nokia phone.

How is this possible?

The models above have an "Internet call" option. They also allow you to register your phone to any SIP carrier to receive inbound calls (provided there is WiFi or 3G broadband available for your Nokia).

Technical details

You will need to complete several steps to get the incoming calls and a second number (virtual number):

1. Create a SIP account. There are many free providers out there: Gizmo, Sipgate etc.

2. Program your SIP account into your Nokia. Here is a very detailed manual (with screenshots) from DIDLogic.com

3. Send your virtual number to your SIP address. For example, if your SIP account on the Nokia is 17475551212@proxy01.sipphone.com, set that as your SIP destiantion and the DID will ring to your phone.

There are many websites that provide DID numbers (DIDLogic.com for example). Here are a couple of screenshots that demonstrate how to get virtual numbers and send them to your Nokia via SIP (free):

A. Choose the country from the dropdown list, for example, China, Russia, US, UK, etc.

B. Choose your city:

C. Send your new number to the SIP address of your Nokia (choose "SIP" and enter your username@sip_provider.com address - or Skype, or Gtak!)

Examples of SIP addresses are:

1234@sip.example.com (SIP URI)

17475551212@proxy01.sipphone.com (SIP URI for Gizmo users)

username@sip.voipcheap.com (incoming SIP calls for Betamax users)

To forward the virtual number to another phone number, mobile or landline (in case you do not have broadband Internet access), see this article.
