Apple iPod Nano Black (2 GB, MA099LL/A) MP3 Player Review
So I bought a new G5 Mac which cost a lot more than 280 quid! Now compared to the latest÷ iPods my old thing is a Brick, so I"ve bought the Nano in black as I think it looks better than the white model. Can"t believe the size and the weight, the sound is terrific and navigating through it on screen with the touch sensitive click wheel is slick.I have put a few photos on and they look well on screen, and you can run a slide show with music if you like which looks good. The Nano is a sleek and stylish÷ MP3 player that will turn heads, but do get a cover for it as there is a lot of bad press on how easily it gets scratched. I would have preferred if Apple had kept the headphone socket on the top of the iPod, its on the bottom which got me scratching my head but it didnt stop me buying one.
Accessories make the Nano versatile, the Lanyard headphone turn your iPod into a fashion accessory when wearing them around your neck and the armband is a great way to carry your iPod when your doing something sporty, remember the Nano is a flash-based÷ MP3 player so virtually no skipping on tracks when youre working out or on a run.
Its a damned good gadget, great looking design, sound and display are excellent, the 4GB holds up to 1000 song, with the battery life you can get up to 14 hours of music in one sitting and all this in a player that is 90mm high, 40mm wide and 6.9 mm thin and it only weighs 42 grams, so try not to lose it.
Overall Opinion
The÷ Apple iPod nano is without a doubt the best portable MP3 player we have tested. It"s small, stylish and produces superb sound and image quality. We like its tiny size, its long battery life and the fact that there is a very long list of accessories available for it. If you need music on the go, the÷ Apple iPod nano is the one for you, although we recommend you to buy the 4GB model instead of the 2GB as it offers double the capacity and it only costs a little bit more than the 2GB model.
